Almost three years to the day that I have been on here. Lots going on for sure! I guess there are so many other websites out there that keep me busy I have forgotten about this one. One would assume everyone has Facebook now-a-days? |

Thought I would go ahead and give a quick update. Not much happening, just working in the yard and keeping the house up. Getting ready for a BBQ in a couple weeks, should be a blast! |
Hey there world, I do still exist... Just haven't posted in a while. Winter is here which meens several things, but one thing to note! Two weeks and I put up Christmas at the house. I can't believe it's here, seems like yesterday I was planting the garden.

Ok, so I am in Vegas for over a week... And yes, 121was today's high... Just thought I would share!

Ok, because I haven't posted in a while and because I am sitting in my hotel room contemplating going to bed :-D I thought I would post...
I am currently enjoying the city of Calgary... Doing the usual three day ISPS training that I do often. Working with the Calgary Police Service has been fun and interesting. As always I never know what I am getting into with these trainings... This one sure hasn't let me down with surprises and hurdles. Nothing like trying to work with other video professionals that already know how to do their job (and do it well) but insist that what I have to say is something they might already know. All in all we got along great and everybody came out with something they didn't know!
One more day and I head home. As always, especially this time of year... I am missing home and all the things that are routine. Of course missing Ryan, and taking care of the yard... I am sure the weeds are growing extra fast to remind me that they are there. And Sophie is probably missing me as well, but who knows. As long as her food dish is full and she gets to go outside she is probably happy!
Upon my return I will post photos of this trip and the city of Calgary. I also took the time last night to drive up to Banff. Banff is a VERY popular tourist town up north in the Banff National Park. It was a wonderful place to visit, I played tourist for the evening and took a ride up the Gondola. Very interesting and scenic. The Gondola takes you from the bottom of the mountain to the top of the ridge (over 2000 feet up, and almost straight up!) where you can see both sides and because it was a clear evening... I could see as far as the eye could see... They have a web cam that shows you a live look from the top!
